Business Security Partnership Meetings

HWBIDCo facilitates regular sector meetings within the Business Security Partnership.

These meetings provide a forum for businesses to influence the decision-making process by statutory agencies such as Thames Valley Police (TVP) and allow businesses to initiate project activities that reflect their priorities.  The meetings are run by businesses themselves and allow collective action.

Three formal meetings are held the first Monday and Thursday of every second month.

All details, including agendas and formal minutes can be found on the secure business security website.

Shop Watch Thursday 11am

For the day-time economy we have a Shop Watch meeting, attended by individual security guards, store managers and shopping centre security staff.  Representatives of TVP, CCTV, Wycombe District Council (WDC) and Chiltern Railways also attend.

Pub Watch Mondays @ 4pm

For the night-time economy we run a meeting for licensees, attended by WDC Licensing Officers, CCTV and TVP.  There is scope for the second meeting to grow to include late night business owners and taxi companies.

In addition to the regular sector meetings, HWBIDCo is planning to introduce a weekly drop-in session for local security and TVP to highlight key individuals of interest at that time.  This will be facilitated by our new Town Centre Ranger position.

As back up to these face-to-face meetings, active members can access security policies and debates and share intelligence relating to the town through the secure area on this site.
